About us: Oasis Recovery was founded by individuals in recovery who have first-hand experience in receiving addiction treatment and have developed a specialized model of care that incorporates techniques that work while eliminating those that do not. Located in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina we provide a supportive environment for individuals recovering from addiction and alcoholism. Oasis is a client and family centered organization. Position Summary:
The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing all clinical operations within the facility. This includes the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical programs and services, supervision of clinical staff, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in substance abuse treatment, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the clinical team, including hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating clinical staff.
  • Develop and implement clinical programs and services that meet the needs of our clients and adhere to best practices in substance abuse treatment.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Provide clinical supervision and professional development opportunities for clinical staff.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical programs and services, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Participate in budget planning and management for clinical services.
  • Serve as a member of the senior management team, contributing to strategic planning and overall facility management.
  • May maintain a small caseload of clients, providing direct clinical services as needed.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensed clinician (LPC/MHSP, LADAC, etc) in the state of NC.
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in substance abuse treatment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role (preferred)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in substance abuse treatment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality.

Salary Description

$60,000 – $75,000 per year
