Oasis Recovery Center is looking for a dedicated primary therapist to join our team! Located in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina we provide a supportive environment for individuals recovering from addiction and alcoholism.
Job Summary: As a Primary Clinician at Oasis Recovery, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of roughly 6-8 clients at a time. This includes weekly one on one sessions, bio/psycho/social assessments, and treatment planning, maintaining contact with client’s family members, and leading group facilitation. Core Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop individualized treatment plans that address clients’ unique needs, goals, and challenges.
- Completing initial intake
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients, utilizing various modalities.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions, both in the clinical setting as well as outdoor therapy (hiking)
- Engage in family therapy sessions to address family dynamics, educate on addiction, promote healthy communication, and support the recovery process.
- Collaborate with the clinical, medical and operational team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Document client progress, treatment interventions, and any significant observations in a timely and consistent manner.
- Assess and manage crises or emergencies that may arise, applying appropriate intervention strategies to ensure client safety.
- Participate in treatment planning meetings: Actively contribute to treatment team meetings, providing clinical insights, progress updates, and recommendations for the ongoing care of clients.
- Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities and training to enhance clinical skills and maintain licensure and certifications.

Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- Ability to flex a day during the week if working on Sunday for group facilitation.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Education – Masters level preferred or (related experience in substance abuse field.)
- Experience – Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience is preferred.
- Certifications – LPC/MHSP, LADC, LMFT, CADC, LADAC
- Knowledge of alcohol and chemical dependency treatment, rehabilitation programs, and dual diagnosis experience.
- Understanding of the range of treatment and interventions needed for chemically dependent individuals.

Salary Description
$48,000 – $62,000 per year
